  Couesnon cavalry trumpet E flat 1923 tunable with slide. Engraving on bell  "Universal Exhibition of Paris 1900 out of competition member of the jury Couesnon et Cie Supplier of the army 94 rue d'Angoulême Paris Description: This wind instrument from the brass family is made of brass with a black leather "hand holder" sewn into its upper part in order to hold it and protect the metal from sweating hands. It consists of a cylindrical bore pipe, wound two and a half turns. This naturally resonant instrument sounds in E flat. Two rings located in the winding allow you to place a flame in the colours of the unit to which the trumpet belongs. On the bottom of the pavilion is the inscription "Universal Exhibition of Paris, 1900, out of competition, member of the jury, COUESNON et Cie, supplier to the army, 94 rue d'Angoulême, Paris".
